Machinery and Equipment

Machinery and Equipment at the factory meet with all the requirements of the GMP manufacturing regulations. These serve to help the efficient and smooth functioning of the plant.

Distilled water is used for the manufacture of ointments, and is provided from the 600 kg capacity boiler that is located in the compound, with inlets to the Departments.

All externals are manufactured in a 500 kg capacity jacketed mixer, and have a centralized Homogeniser and vacuum arrangements. To control residual loss, a lifting device for the top lid is provided with all necessary safety measures. Complete scraping can be done manually, before subjecting the planetary mixer for wash, thereby minimizing any residual loss.

The double headed filling machine can be used to fill 45 tubes / min. of Lami / aluminium and co-ex (plastic type).
