controlled and technologically sound,
G. Loucatos & Co. recently acquired
a manufacturing unit, Suyog Pharmaceuticals
Pvt. Ltd. This unit is now a part of
the G. Loucatos group of companies,
and is a WHO-GMP (World Health Organisation
- Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant
SSI facility.
Located
at MIDC, Tarapur, in Maharashtra state,
Suyog Pharmaceuticals was established in
the year 1994. This unit, admeasuring a
built up area of 6500 square feet, undertakes
contract manufacturing on loan licence
or third party agreements for national
and multinational pharmaceutical companies.
The factory building has been constructed
according to prevailing GMP norms of FDA
and the Industrial Health & Safety
Standards.
